JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
We are urgently looking for the qualified Assistant General Worker to start working ASAP.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Grade 12 Senior Certificate.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Positive screening results including criminal
- May be expected to work rotating shifts
- May be required to work overtime from time to time
- Physical, mental and medical fit.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To collaborate with site teams to support the achievement of operational goals and targets.
- To assist with daily inspections of the designated area of responsibility, report any deviations or hazards.
- To support pipeline and valve operations (under supervision).
- Assist with problem-solving of operational challenges and escalate deviations to site teams.
- Assist with any general assigned site activities as required to support operations.
- Perform basic housekeeping duties in work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- To execute all assigned tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- To comply with all safety rules, regulations and company procedures.
