JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Workshop Assistant to start working ASAP. TWK Agri requires the services of reputable Workshop Assistant. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Matric / Grade 12
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must have good verbal communication skills
- Must have ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Must be physically fit and able to handle manual labour
- Must be reliable, punctual, and honest
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic mechanical interest or aptitude will be an added advantage
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To assist with basic maintenance tasks and repairs on equipment
- To load and off-load equipment safely and efficiently
- To clean and prepare parts and equipment for servicing
- To organize and store tools, parts, and consumables in the workshop
- To conduct physical stock counts and report discrepancies
- To maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the workshop and yard area
- Ensure proper waste disposal in line with workshop standards
- Comply with safety regulations and company procedures at all times
- To be available to work overtime or weekends when operationally required
